Information on data protection

Lenze Group data protection information

Any information entered into forms is given voluntarily. You have the right to withdraw your consent for your data to be collected, stored and processed. The protection of personal data such as names, addresses, telephone numbers and e-mail addresses is very important to us, which is why we conduct our Web activities in all the countries in which we run Websites in accordance with the relevant data protection and data security legislation. Below you can find out what information we may collect and how we treat that information.

Personal data

We will not collect any personal data via our Websites without your consent. Only you decide whether or not to disclose this data to us, e.g. as part of a registration process, survey or similar. Examples of how we use your personal data include responding to your requests, processing your orders and granting you access to special information or offers. In the interests of nurturing customer relationships, it may also be beneficial for us to store and process your personal data and, for instance, pass them to the company in the country you have indicated in your request.

We store IP addresses for a maximum of 28 days. This information is stored for data integrity reasons, so that we are able to ensure the stability and operational reliability of our system.

If you do not wish to divulge your personal data to us within the context of fostering our customer relationship (and particularly for the purposes of direct marketing or market research), we will of course respect your wishes. We will not sell your personally identifiable information.

Non-personal data collected automatically

When you access our Websites, anonymous information is collected automatically (i.e. without the need for registration). Examples of such data are the Internet browser and operating system used, the domain name of the Website from which you accessed our site, the number of visits you have made, the average time you remain on the site and the pages you have viewed. We and our subsidiaries use this information to determine how attractive our Websites are to users, and to improve their content.

Use of cookies

We use cookies on our Websites without informing you explicitly of this fact. Cookies are small files that are stored temporarily on your hard disk. Most browsers are configured so that cookies are accepted automatically. However, you can deactivate the option to store cookies or configure your browser so that cookies are only stored for the duration of the Internet session concerned. If your browser does not accept cookies, this may lead to functional restrictions in terms of what our Websites offer (e.g. restrictions when using Web forms).

For assistance with deactivating cookies on widely used browsers, please refer to our user information.

Security

Lenze takes steps to protect your personal data against loss, destruction, falsification, manipulation and unauthorised access or disclosure.

Protection of children and minors

Persons under the age of 18 should not divulge any personal data to us without the consent of a parent or guardian. We do not request any personal data from children or young persons. We do not knowingly collect any such data or pass it on to third parties.

Questions and comments

As the Internet environment develops, we will continually adapt our data protection information accordingly. We will provide timely information about any changes on this site. In view of this, you should check this site on a regular basis so that you can stay informed about the current status of our data protection information. If you have questions about how your personal data is handled, or suggestions or comments relating to data protection, for example, please send an e-mail to Lenze's data protection officer: Datenschutz@Lenze.de
